18.30hrs – 19.45hrs (UK time), with recordings available for a month after each class.
Somatic movements & Restorative Yoga course where you will learn about mindful breathing and use gentle Somatic movements to release tension and prepare both body and mind for deep rest. The Restorative postures are fully supported (using props, such as folded blankets and cushions, etc.) so that you rest, for instance in a back bend or a twist – not stretching or engaging muscle activity. The body and mind “learns” to trust, and can release, relax and let go, and you’ll be able to maintain deeply relaxing postures for longer.
